Cheering Pain

Production design of the short film Cheering Pain by Cainan Baladez and Fernanda Chicolet (2012). Lígia works at an amusement park. She is suspended upwards on a ball toy, where kids try to hit the target in order to make her fall. Her uniform is a costume that hides her pale skin and her dissatisfaction with her own body, while at the same time opposing the fantasy to her crude and, at times, sad and opaque reality.
